Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using braid (a service of braid ai labs, LLC), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
Description of Service
braid is a platform for storing, organizing, and searching AI prompts and rules. We provide:
- Cloud storage for prompts, rules, and AI instructions
- Context retrieval via scoped rules and direct mentions
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration
- Team collaboration features
- API access for programmatic usage
We use PostHog to help us understand product usage, performance, and reliability. PostHog analytics collection is controlled by your cookie consent choices as described in our Privacy Policy.
Account Terms
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
You may manage analytics cookie preferences through our cookie banner or cookie settings controls where available.
Your Content
You retain ownership of your content. By uploading content to braid, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and back up your content
- Index and retrieve your rules for product functionality
- Display your content to you and authorized team members
- Provide the service as described
We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for training AI models or any purpose other than providing the braid service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use braid to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Upload malicious code or content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Harvest or collect information about other users
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Payment Terms
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
- We may change our prices with 30 days notice.
- Downgrading your plan may cause loss of features or capacity.
- Failure to pay may result in service suspension.
Service Level
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:
- 100% uptime or availability
- That the service will be error-free
- That the service will meet all your requirements
- The accuracy or completeness of search results
Enterprise plans may include specific SLA guarantees as outlined in separate agreements.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You breach these Terms of Service
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the service
Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may request export of your data before termination.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, braid ai labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless braid ai labs, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
